Personal care is the most intimate support we provide, and we treat it that way. Our workers are trained to assist with daily personal activities in a manner that protects dignity, respects privacy and builds — never undermines — confidence.
This covers support with showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, continence care, medication prompting and mobility around the home. What that looks like in practice is entirely shaped by the person: some need hands-on assistance, others just need someone nearby, and many sit somewhere in between.
We match workers carefully. Gender preference, language, personality and cultural background all matter here more than anywhere else, and we take those preferences seriously rather than treating them as an afterthought.
Consistency matters too. Wherever possible we keep the same small team, so you're not explaining your routine to a stranger each week. Familiarity is what turns personal care from something endured into something comfortable.
